The creation of this soap begins with the steeping of a nice strong pot of aromatic Earl Grey Tea. Once cooled, the tea is added to the soap recipe, completely replacing the water component. Earl Grey Tea is full of health benefits for your skin, containing innumerable anti-oxidants to keep skin healthy and hydrated while fighting against free radical damage, not to mention the vitamins B1, B2, E and H that help to keep skin soft, plump and smooth, The addition of organic Kokum Butter and organic, unrefined Coconut Oil adds needed moisture and anti-bacterial properties to dry or irritated skin without clogging pores. Grounding and calming Bergamot Essential Oil creates a sensory experience reminiscent of sipping a cup of hot Earl Grey Tea, restoring balance and calm to mind and body. Natural Alkanet root powder mixed with the infused tea, creates a lovely burgandy wine colour to the soap.
